Hard Passages from the Music Packet In the interest of sounding better, here are challenging (or just plain weird) passages from the music packet songs. Each audio clip is denoted by measure number. Note that all of these are in concert pitch, so you can play along with the MIDI (if you really want to). If you find any mistakes, or if you want me to MIDIfy a clip from the packet, e-mail me. "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood" 85-end: This is the twiddly stuff at the end. Remember the F#'s. "Fat-Bottomed Girls" 31-35: There's part of a chromatic scale in the muddle somewhere. Measure 35 is in 2/4. 44-49: Kinda strange. "Hazy Shade Of Winter" 27-30 and 63-66: These two passages have similar rhythms but are different. "Stairway To Heaven" 140-158: All of these phrases are different, so pay close attention when you play this part. "What Is Hip" 33-48: This sounds easy, but try playing it. Good luck.
